Casting Crowns is a brand new Christian pop/rock group. Well I nominate Casting Crowns my new favorite band. They are exactly what every youth is looking for in music today. The group takes what the church should be doing and puts it into music. To top it all off, it’s the kind of music you can worship to, dance to, and just listen to, when you’re driving down the road.

Their song, “If We Are The Body,” hit the charts at number 29, which is pretty good for a first album from an unknown group. This song speaks the truth in an upbeat sing-along way. It has a great punch line chorus that is easy to sing along with. This song will make you realize that you do have time to share the gospel. When you think you don’t have the time, listen to this track and you will grab the first person you see and share the gospel with them.

If you’re a dad and your reading this, I would suggest you get this album and listen to “American Dream.” The lyrics to this song will make you cry. It is a very soul grabbing song that talks about putting your family first.

I would suggest to any youth who feels like they are getting pulled down by the world to listen to “Voice of Truth.”
It is a great song! It is an uplifting song that will help you through those days when you feel like all you do, is going to waste.

I was taken very much by this album. It is an album you can listen to over and over again, and not get tired of listening to it.
Its lyrics are scriptural and its something you can let your children listen to. This album is great, and I urge everyone to purchase it.
